My desktop, as of today. Yes, I like the brown theme and am just using wallpaper that comes with the distro. I have a collection of wallpaper images that all fit in with this theme (though most are on my backup DVD back in Madras). I've tried the bluer themes, and all of them are too bright on the eyes, too much whiteness everywhere. As of the name of my microSD card, I name them after libraries (Alexandria was stolen along with my Nokia E65, Celsus is in a case).
I'm on Ubuntu again, I just like the general cohesion of a Linux distribution (I want my software menus automatically categorised, I want to install/uninstall from one interface,...) though OpenOffice still seems to be a weak spot. That and Firefox. I'm affected by #125970. My older T7200, 1GB DDR2 667MHz, Intel GMA950 could easily handle anything I threw at it, but apparently Nvidia isn't up to the task. I can't say I'm not disappointed.
