Funny how things can remind you of other stuff. Pipe and I met Benjamin Zephaniah back when we were still in college and I asked him what he thought of other people's interpretation of his work. He gave us two points: One was a man whose life was saved by reading Benjamin (NOT OBE) Zephaniah's poetry, and the other was of a literature professor who managed to write a treatise on how Benjamin Zephaniah talked about David Bowie based on the fact that Zephaniah uses the word 'bowy'.
