A little knowledge is a dangerous thing

The only thing worse than painting the bikeshed is when people who don't know much about something decide to stick their noses and repeat a few buzzwords, and tell you that they want X, where X is something completely unrelated to what you're doing. Think something like someone asking you to use AJAX in your project, except you're in an architecture course. Yeah, that bad.

Or that other time people say, "Oh yeah!" and then proceed to say something that is completely not "Oh yeah!" at all, because not only is it stupid and wrong it is also misinformation.
