I'm a bit unhappy with the latest Ubuntu versions. I liked Ubuntu 7.04, it worked perfectly for me. I can't remember why I moved from that to 8.04¹. 8.04 lost me the ability to browse Bluetooth devices with Nautilus (because of a switch from gnome-vfs to gvfs that destroyed that ability) and 8.10 goes a step further and destroys the Intel i845 integrated chip on the desktop from working with Compiz. This is greatly disappointing.
¹ This is a lie, I know very well why I did. It was because I moved from my HP Compaq NX 7300 to the Dell XPS M1330.
