Bloody morons. The lot of them. I have a WWAN PCI-e slot on my motherboard, but I have to use the ugly monstrosities they call USB modems. Jesus Christ, if I wanted something sticking out of the side of my laptop all the time I'd get one of those USB LEDs. Morons.

All of this was set off because I read Sindhu's post on Netbooks and, as a result, went around searching for something I could plug into my laptop's mini-PCI-e slot (it comes with a nicely marked WWAN slot and also with a space for a SIM). Naturally, whenever I go searching for some nice useful add-on I am confronted by the huge gap between India and the rest of the world in availability of technology. Meanwhile, there's some guy in freaking Kenya enjoying HSDPA connectivity.
