Vindication over Φ, the 'golden ratio'
For years now I've had to tell people about this 1.618 is the golden ratio nonsense. I mean, there's nothing wrong with the number Φ=1+1/Φ itself or it showing up wherever there is a Fibonacci series to be found but I the bit about the human body being arranged according to Φ and stuff really bothered me because it didn't sound at all firmly founded. All this time I thought it was just me.
